Electroacupuncture

Electroacupuncture is the passing of electrical energy between a pair of acupuncture needles which are already in place. Wires are attached to the needles and an electro-acupunture stimulator is used to deliver electrical pulses of varying frequencies and intensity to treat specific areas. More than one pair of needles can be stimulated in one session and the frequency and intensity of the electrical impulse is controlled by the acupuncturist depending on the nature of  condition. Electroacupuncture is not only beneficial for patients suffering paralyisis, but also those suffering from chronic pain from arthritis.
